Editorial Advisory Board – Apply Now!

The Canadian Journal of Critical Care Nursing (CJCCN) is seeking two to three CACCN members for the Editorial Advisory Board.
Role and Responsibilities: The Editorial Advisory Board, in collaboration with the Chief Editor and Co-Editors assist by: 1. Participating in the peer-review process reviewing, at minimum, one manuscript per calendar year. 2. Soliciting manuscripts that fit the aim and scope of the CJCCN from colleagues on an ongoing basis. 3. Contributing manuscripts or invited articles to the CJCCN in their area of specialty. 4. Providing recommendations to the Chief Editor on the direction and focus of the CJCCN. 5. Assisting with revision of the editorial process as requested. and 6. Attending Editorial Advisory Board Meetings, as requested, at minimum once annually in Spring.
Criteria: The criteria for appointment and reappointment include: 1. Active/current member of the Canadian Association of Critical Care Nurses (CACCN). 2. Graduate degree required (minimum MScN, MN). 3. Demonstrated ability to write and publish professionally. 4. Demonstrated expertise in critical care, content, and/or methodological expertise. and 5. Has served as a peer reviewer for the CJCCN and/or other reputable medical or nursing journals prior to expressed interest to apply for the Editorial Advisory Board.
